Domestic abuse awareness training - Wed 22nd Feb, Coventry

Women Walking With God - 2nd-3rd March, Edinburgh

Mandy Marshall & Dr Elaine Storkey will be speaking at this event in Scotland. Mandy will be delivering a seminar on 'A vision for change: Restoring women globally' whilst Dr Storkey will be one of the main plenary speakers. Bookings can be made here

Betty Makoni Book launch - 8th March, London

Restored Board member & head of the Girl Child Network, Betty Makoni, is launching her book 'Woman, once a girl' on International Women's Day, 8th March, in London. Peter Grant will speak about First Man Standing and in the inclusion of men in ending violence against women. Further details of the event and tickets can be found here

Kilimanjaro climb, Tanzania - Jan 2012

CVM South West Conference - Saturday 15th October

Peter Grant delivered two seminars at Codelife 2011, Christian Vision for Men's regional day at Exeter University.

Cabbage Patch 10 Race - Sunday 16th October

Mandy Marshall, Peter Grant and Natalie Collins ran in the Cabbage Patch 10 in Twickenham to raise money for Restored.

Restored Conference and AGM - Tuesday 4th October, 9.30-1.45pm

Restored had its first AGM on 4th October. Dr Elaine Storkey and Alan Storkey spoke, and there was an opportunity to listen to Restored staff and members.

Summer Festivals - July/August

Restored had the pleasure of delivering seminars at a number of Christian festivals over the summer, including Clan Gathering, New Wine and Faith Camp.

'The Gathering' - 24-26th June

The First Man Standing campaign was officially launched at 'The Gathering', a Christian Vision for Men conference.

Pentecost Festival - 11th June

Restored ran a series of seminars at London's Pentecost festival, which brings together artists, musicians, performers and speakers to celebrate the Church's birthday in the capital.

Emerging from the Shadows - 12-15th May 2011

Natalie Collins, Restored's Development Officer, was a Key Note Speaker at the fifth international conference from PASCH. This conference aims to deepen our understanding of key issues through exposure to outstanding international speakers and the latest academic research; while facilitating the formation of strategic connections between those affected and practitioners in the field.

Mission Possible Training, Bulgaria - 23-25th March

Natalie Collins provided two days training for Christian women in Dobromirk, Bulgaria.

'Silent No More' Launch Event, Lambeth Palace - 21st March

The 'Silent No More' report on the role of the Church in ending sexual violence, particularly in conflict areas, was launched at Lambeth Palace, where Archbishop Rowan Williams spoke about the importance of its findings. Deloitte Women That Rock Awards - 8th March

Mandy Marshall was delighted to accept this award for her work in advancing equality and combatting violence against women, as part of a celebration of women's achievements. Read more about it here.

Ministry of Justice - 8th March

Natalie Collins delivered a seminar at the Ministry of Justice to mark International Women's Day.

Tearfund Charity Angels - 8th March

Tearfund celebrated International Women's Day 2011 with a fundraising event for Restored at the Athenaum Club, London.

First Man Standing Course - February

Peter Grant lead this pilot course exploring masculinity as part of Restored's First Man Standing campaign.

Vision for Africa Conference - 30th Jan-4th Feb

Mandy Marshall delivered four seminars at the Vision for Africa Conference in Burkina Faso.

Mandy Marshall spoke at the Tearfund Petersfield Prayer group about violence against women and what Restored is doing to engage the church in the issue.

Cabbage Patch 10 Race - Sunday 17th Oct 2010 - UK

The Co-Directors of Restored ran 10 miles around Twickenham, Kingston and Richmond on Sunday 17th Oct 2010 to raise funds for Restored. The Cabbage Patch 10 race has been run successfully for a number of years and is a very popular local event.

Micah Network Regional Consultation on Integral Mission & Gender Based Violence

Ecuador 28th Sept-2nd Oct 2010

Restored attended the Micah Network consultation on Gender Based Violence in Latin America taking place in Ecuador at the end of September. It was a fantastic opportunity for Restored to raise awareness of the issue, the work and the vision going forward. We want to encourage church and Christian leaders to raise awareness of the issues within their own countries and contexts and bring about a restoration in relationships as God originally intended them to be.

Greenbelt - UK

Restored was at Greenbelt, the UK Christian Arts festival, in Cheltenham over the August Bank Holiday weekend and delivered two seminars at the festival.
