First Man Standing aims to help men build more positive relationships and to be active in speaking out to end the injustice of violence against women.
Having become involved through Respect-Challenge-Join, you may feel you would like to go further. If so, please consider doing the following:
- Become a Restored “advocate” making your church a safe space. This will involve attending some training and then representing Restored in your church. Click here for more details.
- Help develop or trial Restored materials in a church or group setting. This includes Restored’s church pack and Bible studies.
- Join or establish a peer group to reduce violence against women worldwide. We want to encourage men to develop materials in their own areas of expertise directed towards relevant groups outside the church. We are particularly keen to influence professions such as the law, armed forces and police who can play a huge role in responding to and preventing violence against women.
- Represent Restored at men’s events to promote First Man Standing
