First Man Standing

Welcome to First Man Standing, an opportunity for men everywhere to be the first in their family, club, church or workplace to stand up and speak out about building strong relationships and ending violence against women.  First Man Standing is being launched in association with Christian Vision for Men (see cvmen.org.uk).

What are we asking you to do?

We are proposing three steps for men to follow in order to make a difference:

1. Respect all women everywhere and demonstrate love and support for women and children in your family. Find out more.
2. Challenge other men by speaking out to your friends and colleagues about ending violence and negative attitudes towards women. Find out more.

What happens next?

For those who sign up we will send out more ideas and details of how you can practically work through the implications of First Man Standing and send you a quarterly e-newsletter to keep you in touch with how the campaign is developing.
