Restored - Ending Violence Against Women

We are developing Bible-based materials for men about building better relationships and ending violence against women.

These will need to be test-run in groups, and we ultimately hope to.  We hope to develop them into a fully-fledged course.  Please let us know if you would be interested in trying this out in your church or if you have ideas for issues and passages that we should include.  

Using Old and New Testament sources, First Man Standing Bible studies will examine God’s attitude toward violence against women, the equality of the sexes before God, the responsibilities of men to respect and love their partners and the mystery of intimate relationships as a reflection of that between Christ and the church.  

In the meantime take a look at some of the verses addressed to men in Ephesians 5:25 - 6:4, Colossians 3:19-21 and 1Timothy 5:2 and reflect on their implications for you.
