Mandy Marshall meets Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg & the Prime Minister at No 10
On March 8th, International Women's Day, Mandy Marshall was invited to an event hosted by the Prime Minister (UK) at No10 Downing St. She was able to give Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, some First Man Standing drink mats, a CVM Codelife card and some fairly-traded chocolate. Restored staff nominated for Inspire Award
Natalie Collins & Mandy Marshall have both been nominated for an Inspire Award. The awards are run by the Evangelical Allaince in the UK and are given to people who are unsung local heroes who make a difference to the lives they touch. Read the press release here
We Will Speak Out
Restored is a member of the We Will Speak Out Coalition which launched the 'Silent No More' report at Lambeth Palace in March 2011. Mandy went to DRC & Burundi in August to work with the Archbishops & Bishops in responding to the report's findings. See here for more info & here for the video of the march in Burundi.
